DJ's Fishing Trip

DJ took a 3-day fishing trip with his friend John a couple weeks ago. They backpacked through the Kings River and he says that he had a blast. They caught a lot of fish, which is a good thing because that was their food source. DJ said that he ate more fish in those few days then he has in the last 5 years. They did a lot of floating down rapids, which resulted in these losses...

  1. His watch that we bought a couple days before the trip.

  2. His hat.

  3. His rod (well, it broke so I count that as a loss)

  4. While he was drifting down the river, his shorts got caught on a rock a ripped them right up the back (good thing he had speedos on, otherwise John would have had to see things that I don't think he would have wanted to)

But aside from the losses we took, he said that he got his feeling of manliness back which apparently he felt was missing. I guess watching sports isn't enough. He is trying to talk me into going on a camping trip in a few weeks. And I have a feeling that he isn't going to let me get out of it. Yeay. I'm sure it will be fun.
