Dylan was a little overwhelmed by the whole scene, but I think that he had fun. I barely saw him the whole time, poor kid. I was so busy!
Mmmmm... watermelon is very popular amongst the Radmachers...
Here is a picture of Jake with a couple of Heidi's kids, Landon and Matthew. Jake calls them "his boys." He loves hangin' out with them!
We set up a little ~pond~ for the kid's to fish out of. I sat inside of it and let them "catch" toys and candy. It was soooo hot in there! But worth it, the kids thought it was pretty cool.
Of course, there was a pinata! Jake was so ready to eat his candy that he hadn't even taken the wrapper off before he stuck it in his mouth!
At the end of the day, we all sang him Happy Birthday. He was so tired that when we all started singing he turned shy and wouldn't even look at his birthday cake. As soon as we let his cousins blow the candle out, he got over it and wanted to do it himself. All in all it was a good time! Wish you were there, mom and dad!

I wish WE were there. We miss you guys. Dylan looks so old! What a beautiful backyard to have a party in! How have you guys been??? Can you believe he is 2... sometimes it's the opposite like you cannot believe he isn't older than 2 since you already have a near 8 month old.

Yay, I'm glad you have a blog! (It's about time someone else in the family joined the blogging world!) We miss you guys too - it seems like FOREVER since we saw you last! I still have a present for Dylan. I'm sad we missed Jake's b-day - I wish we lived closer! We'd LOVE to have you visit. Jake would love the cows and chickens and dogs...and dirt! The beach and lake are both only 10 minutes away - can't beat that! Hope to see you soon! Love you guys!
